AFORFUTURISM 1 (EP)

July 2021

Wondering why the title is misspelled? It's a true story. The audio files AB originally sent over to Teo while working on the project had a literal typo in the filename—they read "AFORFUTURISM" instead of "AFROFUTURISM." It wasn't until Teo completely incorporated the typo into his lyrics for "Marron Freestyle" that AB realized the mistake. AB called Teo in a panic explaining the error, but with his signature cool tone, Teo just said, "Nah bro, it's not a typo. It's the name of the album." So we ran with it.

AFORFUTURISM 2 (EP)

August 2022

Originally, we tried the modern "one single a month" rollout approach for this project. The release cycle ended up dragging on for 9 long months to get 9 songs out. Honestly? This approach didn’t yield any real algorithmic results and it ended up stressing us tf out. It was exhausting af. Realizing the strategy was broken, we pulled the plug on the staggered release, packaged the tracks cleanly under one unified project, and dropped it the right way.

WE BACK AT IT (INDEPENDENT SHOWCASE)

October 2023

This was the year we connected with our manager and close friend, Shenetta Nicole, who helped us organize and execute our very first completely independent showcase. We partnered with a local venue, Park City Music Hall, and curated a heavy lineup featuring local acts. While the crowd execution and experience we gained were absolutely invaluable, the harsh financial and logistical realities of live production sent us straight back to the drawing board to rethink our infrastructure.

SHOTS IN THE MOONLIGHT (SINGLE)

January 2024

Following our run with Shenetta, we scaled up to a larger management company and came incredibly close to securing a massive collaboration feature with a major international artist. When the corporate politics got messy and the collab ultimately fell through, we refused to let the momentum die. We took complete control of the asset and deployed the single entirely on our own terms.

PARK CITY (ALBUM)

July 2024

The entire concept of this album was sparked into existence while we were working on the project's title song, "Park City." After witnessing the intense direction Teo was taking with his performance on that track, it became clear to AB that he was ready to uncover a much deeper, highly personal narrative. AB asked one simple, direct question: "Tell me about growing up in Bridgeport." For context outside our hometown, "Park City" is the historic official moniker for Bridgeport, Connecticut. This album is the map of that environment.
